American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career with supporting roles in the teenage comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). On the FX series Dirt in which she was Willa McPherson, a reporter. She also appeared as the supporting role on the short-lived show The Ex List. In the premiere season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara as an untried Moira and in the following season, she was Kaylee. She was Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices a variety of characters from Family Guy's animated comedy. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe who is the main character of Netflix's show Virgin River. Breckenridge was a resident of Darien, Connecticut, until when she was 10 when her mother and she moved to California. were able to move around for a year before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge started to become interested in acting, singing, and photography at 13. Breckenridge moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was just 15 years old to pursue her acting career.
