Annabelle Gurwitch
Annabelle Gurwitch, an American comedy actress and TV host is well known for her time as hostess in Dinner and a Movie. She is also a vocal advocate on environmental issues and humanism. Annabelle Gurwitch was a critically-acclaimed actress and New York Times Bestseller Author. She penned her memoirs You Didn't Say Tomato But I Said Shut Up! The comedy show on TBS was produced by Annabelle Gurwitch. Gurwitch is most well-known for her long tenure hosting TBS Dinner & a Movie. She also has been featured on TV shows like Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown. She is a regular presenter on PBS Newhour Real Time With Bill Maher, NPR and composes satirical and op-ed pieces for The New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter as well as op eds and satires for The New Yorker. The New York Times has praised her for being a stage actor and has included her in its annual list of the critics' Top Ten Performances. Annabelle is a wise woman who shares her insights about aging and ways to be funny in a youth-obsessed society.
